FaNs of the Moment Oakland

Volunteers from Oak House, FaNs salutes you!

Jan, Kelly, Nadia, Colin, Jackie and Joan are volunteers from Oak House, Stanford-le-Hope and combined, they have been volunteering at the home for a staggering 78 years! Activity Coordinator Fleur Reilly says ‘ We feel lucky to have these wonderful people helping in our home, they have enriched the lives of so many residents past and present, their love and dedication has been paramount in the care that our residents receive’.  Gardening, religious services, parties, arts and crafts, reminiscing, driving the minibus on outings, reading, the list goes on and on.  Their help has enabled Oak House to keep a caring, happy and loving environment where residents thrive. Their visits help residents to remain part of the wider community, Fleur says ‘We cannot express our thanks enough to these wonderful people who dedicate their time and love and who are truly invaluable to Oak House’. Thank you all
